Butt Fusion Welding Training Course

Who is this course for?
Contractors who work with polyethylene piping for the water industry.

Aims & Objectives of this course: That welders would be competent to carry out Butt Fusion welding in accordance with best practices and industry standard WIS 4-32-08 as mandated by Uisce Eireann (Irish Water) code of practice.

Course Duration: 1 Day

Training Method: Training will take place in our classrooms in Shannon, Co. Clare. Training will involve demonstrations, practical assessments and a multiple choice question exam. All necessary equipment is provided by Tensile Testing Services Ltd.

Trainee Requirements: All trainees must have a valid Safe Pass card and Manual Handling qualification

Accreditation: Tensile Testing Services is a fully accredited Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) independent training facility. All courses are accredited by the EUSR.

Qualification is valid for: EUSR qualifications are valid for 3 Years from date of successful completion
